Inter- Community Bereavements’ Notice

The family of Richard Aguma & Sarah Acola of London, on behalf of their father Mzee John Oceng of Amocal, Ibuje Apac District with deepest sorrow announces the deaths of their beloved mother Mama Lucy Ajam Oceng and that of their Great auntie, Imat  Nora Akullo which both occurred recently (on the 15/05/2013 and 14/04/2013 respectively) in Uganda. The two dear sisters were given final restings in their ancestral land. 

There will be a special Memorial Service at St. Matthews Church, Dyson Road, Stratford, London E15 4JX on Saturday, 06/07/2013 at 2pm; to celebrate the lives and work of the two sisters who passed on within a month of each other.

The usual community spirit and contributions towards organizing this service will be much appreciated in all ways – materially, financially or morally. Contributions of drinks will greatly appreciate the following:- water and all soft/ hot drinks.

The inter-community members of Lango and Acholi and the wider communities of Uganda and all are invited to attend the service and accordingly sign The Condolences Book and support the family initiative to organise the 40 Days Memorial Rite underway in Uganda slated for August 2013.

May the Almighty God grant peace and eternal rest to our two departed most Loving sisters: Mama Lucy and Imat Nora. Amen”

A big thank you and God bless you all for responding to last Saturday’s thanksgiving service at Charlton. We demonstrated how grateful we are to Almighty God.

We are extending this special invitation to all this time
aware of the various needs in our midst, to come together bringing whatsoever needs there are to God. The presence of God will be there to save, heal and supply. Apostle Julius Peter Oyet from Uganda will be our guest minister.

As we come together to give thanks to the Almighty God for his Goodness, Kindness, Mercy, Provision
and Peace, we shall also join hands in prayer for our community and seek the Lords guidance on
mountains that we face in our lives.
